Tile Pump/Control Structure

This is a friendly reminder to keep your tile pump(s) off until local flooding has crested. Once crested, please check that downstream ditches and creeks are flowing within their banks before turning on your tile pump(s). If you see a home or farmstead in the watershed district that is threatened by flooding because of culverts/ditches blocked by debris, please contact our office.

Keep tile pumps off in places where ditches are full or frozen, and in order to prevent floodwaters from affecting your neighbors.
